Isolators are used for separating the queen-bee and contol queen brooding. The isolator is made from queen-excluder (of 4,3mm wire spacing). The distance between excluder’s wires allows worker bees to pass through but not the larger queens and drones. Queen-bee is restricted inside the isolator. Isolator is made entirely of metal.
We have developed our own isolator design, which is highly appreciated by customers. It is made from a single excluder, U-shaped, connected to metal sides by rivets. It is a stable, rigid and very durable construction.
